Ginger came to us after we drove 5 hours to Tumburumba. She had been saved from Wagga Wagga pound by a rescue group and was busy helping inmates rehabilitate at a correctional facility before we came along and took her home. At 32 kilos, she's a smoochy 2 year old amazon, who is the newest addition to our pack and is learning to live with us and help pep Fred (who is now 9) up. She's a sucker for belly rubs and is probably the most submissive dog we know and is certainly giving Fred some pack hierarchy conundrums. We are learning all about her as she settles into her new life, and we hope that she will enjoy many adventures with us.
Larry was a death row dog in a country pound that got saved by a
rescue group. He was underweight, timid and shy. He was transported down
to a loving foster family in Canberra, who helped him blossom into a
healthy smoochy confident dog. He has joined our pack and keeps Ginger
on her toes playing chasies before coming inside and worming his way
into any potential cuddles on offer.
